"The Blues Is Alright" is a relatively young blues band that holds decades of experience. When veterans from the most popular West Flemish blues bands join forces, the result is an explosion of musical fireworks! Marc Blanke sings and plays the guitar. We know him from Blue Date and The B Brothers (together with his brother Flip, he has often rocked the stage of the Banana Peel). Bassist Dirk Dermare had his regular spot with The Astatics, but also provided support and a solid groove to numerous other projects. Drummer Joel Loose is now in his mid-seventies, but still possesses the energy of a young foal.

He drummed for a quarter of a century with Rude Roots, then with Benson Blues Trail and The B Brothers. He was also the house drummer for the band Stones For Friends, with Willy Willy, Guy Swinnen, and Kathleen Vandenhoudt.

"The Blues Is Alright" serves Chicago blues with a touch of rock 'n' roll. The atmosphere at Dust! My Blues is therefore guaranteed!
